Ray is ONE YEAR OLD! His actually date of birth is May 30th (so last sunday) But we celebrated all weekend! Joey didn't have to work so it was amazing! So here are some things about Ray...
He has 8 teeth (the most recent 2 came in last week which explains a LOT)
He doesn't have much hair
He can walk while holding a hand or onto a sofa etc.
He does the bear-crawl around the house, then stands up in the middle of the room without any help!
He loves books, yes to chew on, but he also will sit down and turn the pages like he's reading (this may be one of my favorite things he does)
He likes to wave
He likes to clap
He LOVES to eat whatever I happen to be eating
He loves to smile
He loves to play "chase" and then pretend to fall and wait for us to tickle him
He calls me "mamamamama"
He calls joey "dadadadada"
He likes to grab my nose
He likes his new trucks and new toys
He likes to crawl to the glass door, grab the curtain and throw it open
He weighs 23.8 lbs and is 30.5 inches tall
He loves to go swimming and splashing
And that was a few things about my Raymond. I love him and he makes me heart swell with love and makes my eyes squint from smiling so wide. Here are a few funny pics of him.

You can totally tell by the pictures that Ray is a very happy and social little boy.
What a great post! So many pictures! I LOVE the one of you and Ray in the pool both smiling! You both look so happy to be alive and be together. That is how it is supposed to be. He always has such cute boy outfits. I hope my son can be as well dressed in his boyness some day. The best pressent of all... Joey was home with you all weekend! What a great family time and a fun celebration of a special. The first birthday is a big deal!
